Recently, 5 sets of excavator load moment indicator （LMI）from SeeZol Technology have successfully completed installation and commissioning at Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) and been officially put into use. With stable performance and accurate monitoring effects, they have won high recognition and unanimous praise from the customer, demonstrating the strength of Chinese intelligent manufacturing in the international energy field.
As a state-owned energy giant fully owned by the Malaysian government, PETRONAS was established in 1974. It undertakes the important task of managing and developing the country’s oil and gas resources, with business covering the entire industrial chain such as exploration, production, refining, petrochemicals, liquefied natural gas (LNG) and renewable energy. It is a world-leading integrated energy company, and the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, where its headquarters is located, is a world-famous urban landmark. SeeZol Technology‘s excavator LMI is a core equipment to ensure the safety of hoisting operations. It integrates advanced sensing technology and intelligent control system, which can real-time and accurately monitor key operating condition data such as the working radius of the excavator, boom angle, and actual load, and intuitively display them through an industrial-grade LCD screen. When the load approaches or exceeds the rated value, the system will immediately trigger an audible and visual alarm and automatically cut off the operation circuit in the dangerous direction. At the same time, it has a black box function that automatically records dangerous working condition data, providing a reliable basis for accident analysis and effectively avoiding safety risks caused by overloading and operational errors.
Considering the complexity of PETRONAS’ operating environment and its high safety requirements, SeeZol Technology dispatched a professional technical team to the site to follow up the entire installation and commissioning process.
