In the steel forests of modern ports and major logistics hubs, the efficient operation of heavy machinery is the core lifeline of supply chain continuity. Recently, SeeZol Technology and Henan Huanghai Heavy Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Huanghai Machinery”) joined forces to successfully install and commission a Load Moment Indicator (LMI) system for Huanghai’s 300-ton port transfer hydraulic material handler. This milestone not only marks another technological breakthrough for SeeZol Technology in the safety control of super-large construction machinery but also injects a robust “smart safety core” into Huanghai’s renowned “Yonggong” heavy equipment.
Rising to the Challenge: An “Ultimate Test” at Over 10 Meters High

The 300-ton port transfer hydraulic material handler involved in this project is truly a steel behemoth. The equipment is not only massive in size and extremely heavy, but it also features a specialized rail-mounted structure. More challengingly, the center of its boom pivot is situated nearly 10 meters above the ground, with the sensor installation points on the boom reaching heights of over 10 meters. The sheer scale and complex structure of this machine presented unprecedented challenges for the on-site installation of the Load Moment Indicator (LMI) system.

Facing severe difficulties such as high-altitude operational risks, complex sensor wiring, and restricted installation spaces, SeeZol Technology promptly deployed a highly experienced professional installation team to the site. With the close cooperation and strong support of Huanghai Machinery’s technical team, engineers from both sides rose to the occasion. After repeated on-site surveys and mechanical evaluations, they overcame the unfavorable conditions of high-altitude positioning and multiple blind spots. Ultimately, they accurately identified the optimal installation locations within the intricate mechanical structure, flawlessly completing the layout and installation of various high-precision sensors, thereby laying a solid foundation for subsequent system commissioning.
Precision Protection: A “Smart Brain” Under Multiple Thresholds
Hardware installation is only the first step; precise system commissioning is the key to endowing the equipment with “intelligence.” During the commissioning phase, multiple standard test weights ranging from 5 to 20 tons were utilized for rigorous on-site operational testing.

The test results demonstrated the exceptional precision and stability of SeeZol Technology’s Load Moment Indicator. Regardless of whether the grab was in high, low, or extreme extended positions, the system perfectly displayed the real-time load moment of the hydraulic material handler. Crucially, when the equipment load approached or reached the rated safety threshold, the system responded in milliseconds, providing clear early warnings and alarm prompts. Furthermore, the system boasts high scalability—active intervention functions can be added later based on the client’s actual safety requirements. Once activated, the system will decisively cut off dangerous operations if the operator attempts a hazardous movement, providing a multi-layered safety shield of “pre-warning and mid-event blocking” for enterprise production safety.
Strategic Alliance: Co-Drafting a New Blueprint for Smart Heavy Industry
The successful delivery and flawless operation of the 300-ton hydraulic material handler not only verified the outstanding performance of SeeZol Technology’s LMI under extreme working conditions but also fostered deep mutual trust between the two companies. Through this safety upgrade, SeeZol Technology and Huanghai Machinery have officially reached a win-win long-term strategic partnership.
Looking ahead, the collaboration will no longer be limited to standalone LMI products. Based on the personalized needs of Huanghai Machinery’s diverse client base, SeeZol Technology’s high-end weighing systems and customized smart system platforms will be progressively integrated into Huanghai’s product lines. From single-point safety protection to comprehensive digital and intelligent management, both parties will work hand in hand to drive port heavy machinery toward a safer, more efficient, and smarter future, jointly safeguarding the secure operation of national heavy equipment.
