A sua fun\u00e7\u00e3o principal \u00e9 detetar os sinais f\u00edsicos (como a for\u00e7a e a press\u00e3o) gerados quando a escavadora escava materiais e converter esses sinais f\u00edsicos em sinais el\u00e9ctricos ou digitais para posterior processamento e an\u00e1lise pelo sistema de pesagem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Um sensor de \u00e2ngulo <\/strong>\u00e9 um dispositivo utilizado para medir as altera\u00e7\u00f5es angulares de v\u00e1rias partes da escavadora, tais como a lan\u00e7a, o bra\u00e7o e o balde. O sistema de controlo da escavadora pode ent\u00e3o calcular o tamanho da carga, conseguindo assim uma medi\u00e7\u00e3o precisa do peso dos materiais escavados. Entretanto, durante o funcionamento da escavadora, ao monitorizar os \u00e2ngulos dos componentes e a press\u00e3o nas pe\u00e7as-chave, \u00e9 poss\u00edvel determinar se a escavadora se encontra num estado de trabalho seguro.
